Carcano single shot en-bloc adaptor

#1 Post by ukrifleman »

I have just ordered one of these for my M91 Carcano, as those of us that shoot Mannlicher system rifles will know, loading single rounds without an en-bloc charger runs a real risk of breaking the extractor.

The en-bloc single shot adaptor arrived yesterday and I must say, it is a great piece of kit.

It fits like a glove and locks up with a satisfying click.
The only thing to be aware of is when you remove it, make sure you have your hand over the mag well as the lightweight block will go into orbit when you press the release!

It feeds and ejects military ball and cast rounds much smoother than using the steel on-bloc chargers.

The only downside is, that customs duty and Royal mail handling charges turned the original $20 purchase price into a $51 dollar cost when you include the P&P.
