Any body deactivate firearms in Essex or near by
A friend has an .303 Martini that he wants to get deactivated as it has the condemned marks on it.
Does anybody know anybody who can do it?
Thanks

Take it to Chris Goodwin at C&G Firearms just along the M25.
Or maybe Roding Armoury in Abridge will do it, pretty sure they used to do de-acts.
Or Simon at Highwood Classic Arms, he's the Essex/London borders IIRC.

As we all know there are far too many live firing .303 Martini Henry rifles out there and they all should be burned at the stake but, and it’s a big but, what are these condemned marks you talk of?
Re: Any body deactivate firearms in Essex or near by
thanks for the input guys.
My friend said they are marks to show they are not fit to be used, I think they were sometimes applied to obsolete firearms.
They were then used for training purposes like gun handling
