Just been on to Firearms Licensing in Cheshire. Apparently no variations or one for one being processed until home visits can commence again. Seems an odd reason to shut up shop.

Maybe you could ask Mr Chief Plod of Cheshire if they will still be attending for burglaries and assaults and, if so, how they will apply the 'cuffs whilst still staying 2m away from the miscreant ...
