I could if my lathe wasn't being used for other stuff. My wood lathe set up is pretty much the same as that. I have the same chuck etc.

There are lots of places to get the resins and the colour pigments. I can let you know were to source them if you are really interested. Some of my pen blanks are made the same way. I work with a local man and wife small buisness they cast them in the garage. You need a pressure pot like the one in the video if you are really serious about it.
I am really serious about It. I spend as mutch time at the wood lathe as I do in the reloading room. I am well known for my hand made pens.

The difference between the shooting, reloading, machining and the wood turning acrylic casting pen making is.
The shooting, reloading metal lathe machining stuff costs me money.
The wood turning, pen making acrylic casting etc makes me money.
The up side is the wood turning etc means I have funds to buy shooting stuff. The down side is my full time employment gets in the way of my shed time.
But currently not a problem for obvious reasons. So I am catching up on back orders.
Not all good I had orders for a couple wedding pen sets in white ivory obviously now cancelled.
