We have had them in the steading for as long as I can remember, so 60 years at least.

There's one that swoops down in front of me every now and then and follows the road in front of my motorcycle on the Culham Road. It's as if he's using my headlamp to glisten on the eyes of prey.

We had one that would fly for a good mile right next to the drivers side window
amazing to see.
