It was passed to me by another RFD to destroy or Proof. It is an American gun and has a unique or at least unusual feature that makes me think I should keep it.

Is there a new thing about not being able to sell rfd to rfd shotguns out of proof (ie for sleeving or re barreling ) ive probably got that wrong ....

As far as I am aware you cannot sell anything out of Proof although it does happen a lot within the trade.
