This is the Swiss army pistol that replaced the P49/Sig210, I picked up an early 80's example last month in Switzerland, although not as accurate as the P49 it is a third of the price it ticks most of the boxes for my use, as it is suitable for all the club Swiss military issue comps, and if I can get to grips with the Sig sighting system I can also use it in the Feldschiessen (national competition with around 120,000 participants)
So far I'm pleased with it, put a couple of hundred 9mm through it without incident,and it seems to group ok although a foot or so low at 50m (me not understanding the way the sights were set up )

Sig sights are what they refer to as “combat sights”. In short, rear and front sight aligned as usual, but the sight picture is placed “over” the target. They are regulated for military ammunition at 25m. If you’ve taken the customary “6 o’clock” hold that’s why it’s printing low. Your point of aim, point of impact will be below the sight line.

yup worked that out in the end, in the meantime just aimed for the top of the target frame, will clean the sights next time and take some black and white paint so that I have options, didn't try the military issue ammo as that was another CHF7 per box, but I will give it a go next visit.
