Hello
I am considering obtaining an additional .22 and have been thinking of a 22WMR as against a .22LR
Anybody got any views on the differences, characteristics, accuracy etc.
Will only be used 25M and 75M...

22 WMR: No accuracy advantage. MUCH more expensive. Not legal for use on many ranges. Hence: no resale value.

if you are using it for target use then WMR is expensive compared to 22LR, if you are using them on small game they are superb! better on Fox than HMR IMHO although now very close to the same price, which is a shame as a few years ago they were quite a bit cheaper.
I have one but tend to use it rarely as I can reload .223 cheaper than I can buy WMR.
resale value? in a target enviroment they are going to tank, but in a hunting enviroment they will hold their value as well if not better than an HMR (and are less likely to burn the barrel out )
