Sorry I don’t. Someone I shoot with has recently switched from a UTAS town RSS1 and he will almost certainly be adding a muzzle brake. I’ll post details if/when I get them

I fitted the Typhoon muzzle brake to my RS-S1, works a treat. Pictures of my Armsan are on the RS-S1 thread.

Thanks for the replies. Did you get your safety lever and mag release from 4range.com?

Did you encounter any problems ordering from them?

1.The safety was simply a matter of removing the original safety drilling the holes for the extension and then riveting in place with the rivets supplied.
2. The mag release fitted into the receiver without any issues. I had to shorten it slightly where it engaged the normal mag release.
3. The handguard required a little adjustment with a file/Dremel near the front gas block and where the gas tube release lever is. Either completely remove the front clamp (difficult) or grind off the front sling mounts.

Pictures in the Armtac RS1 shotgun… its a Saiga thread

I have seen the pictures, looks good. I thought you bought a full safety not just the extra piece to fit to the original. Sorry to be a pain but what cartridges do you find work well in your RSS1? I have only had mine for a week.

Hi John,
No problem.
I use:
Birdshot: Lyalvale Express Power Red 1500 7.5 27gms 70mm and have had no issues with them. I also occasionally use Lyalvale Pigeon Power 6 29gms 70mm
Buckshot: Buffalo 70mm 32gm
Slug : Home load
