Does anyone own one of these magazine box fed shotguns for practical shotgun?

I'd like to find out what they're like too. I was told at the Phoenix that there will be a multichoke version coming and then it could be interesting.

I don't know about their shotguns but just looked on their website and the Ovis Tactical with the wood stock looks a nice bit of kit.....

Ever use a MKA1919/BR99/F12/MK12 or any other Turkish box mag fed shotgun? They're all much of a muchness and share the same mechanism, materials and build quality. teanews

It's possibly in Huglu's favour that they also make ordinary shotguns and might have better quality control.
I don't remember how the Huglu operated. The only one that's significantly different (of the AR style) is the UTAS. I still want one just for that.

A chap I know had a UTAS, he had no end of problems with it and traded it in for an Armsan RS-S1 and hasn't looked back.

As above. You can get them working but it takes a lot of work. Two of the top IPSC shooters in the UK have even gone to the extent of machining their own replacement parts.

It took a lot of work to get my Bora working.

For me, half the fun of shooting is tinkering work the machinery.

I can understand tinkering with an old rifle in order to improve it but I can't get my head round why anyone would buy a modern firearm that needs a lot of work to get working as it is meant to out of the box!.
