Throw lever alternative

I have been searching for a while to find throw levers for a number of my scopes, however, they are not available for the scopes that I wanted to fit the levers to.

Therefore, for anyone looking for a throw lever which may not be available for their scope, or find that the levers are too expensive, I have just fitted this to my S&B PMII 12-50 x56 and Sightron SIII 8-32 x 56.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Breakaway-Coas ... 145&sr=8-1

Search for "breakaway coasters" and then choose a size suitable for your scope.

Hope you find this useful?

I have seen these before but never tried one, I also fancy one for my PM2 as the zoom is quite stiff.

I used the Ruger PR with this fitted at the range today and it was very useful when shooting at 1000 yards (using a bipod and rear bag), to quickly zoom out find the correct target then zoon in.

Wow! I thought this was old news? coasters have been used for scope adjustment for years, this just goes to show the benefits of asking the same old questions, some people get annoyed by seeing the same questions asked time after time, but forget that there are always new people coming into the sport and re-discovering the wheel. Well done for bringing it up.

For me at least, this is why it is important to keep asking question, answering questions and telling people about new things when you discover them. What was the latest news yesterday can be old hat today, even in the world of shooting.

Thank you for the link, I will have to measure my scopes and see if they manufacturer different diameters.

Yeah it says it covers a range of sizes and does come with some grip tape as well. But overall really happy with it. Going to order another two for the two gallery rifle optics I've just ordered.
