What are your shooting goals this year...?
Usually, other than improve in the disciplines I shoot, historically being NSRA benchrest and Prone TR (which looking back through my yearly averages has actually transpired to be the opposite for the last 5 years), I don't really have any "goals" other than to get out and shoot my full bore rifles a few times a year, as it's enjoyable to go out and shoot, and it's been quite difficult to shoot long range the past few years, without driving for half a day.
This year, my goals are simple, but with a definite aim in mind other than "just be better".
This year I'm aiming to shoot LBP in every NRA Handgun League round, which will see me shooting all over the country.
Complete my UKPSA Safety Course and shoot multiple UKPSA handgun matches.
With the ultimate aim of shooting in some European Competitions with proper pistols later in the year/next year.
If I can continue to shoot the historical disciplines I shoot to a good/high standard whilst embarking on this, that would be nice, along with getting out occasionally to shoot some larger calibres over longer distance. Given the calendar I already have this year, any more than a fleeting visit at the range for non-competition might be frowned upon by the wife...
So what are your goals for 2019...?

The Civilian Service Rifle League ends in April - 2 more days of shooting.
My aim was to end in the top 5 having aimed for it last year and being pipped into 6th.
Currently at 4th in practical class and praying for a miracle and a bronze medal................
This year I ticked a few shooting goals off my bucket list.

Mg 42
A few variants of Sten
Grease gun ( thrown in as a freebie )

Well, I finally made the 7.3 club last month... So that's mission achieved for 2019.
Other than that, it's trying to enjoy my LR for as long as those "very nice" people in Westminster allow me to... before they turn on a few thousand of us law abiding (all in the name of stopping some criminal committing a crime) - SHAMELESS...

I know that feeling... Judging by my last competition, at least!
