Fabryka Broni Beryl M22

My latest .22LR practical rifle.

It weighs 7.7lbs empty and built on their .223 receiver.

I would prefer the Beryl tubular folding stock but I can't seem to find one right now.

The trigger is typical AK, however, the accuracy is excellent.

I'll run the gun with Meprolight tritium sights because in dim light the front post is much harder to pick up against dark coloured targets.

The sling is a Blue Force Gear standard AK sling.

Nice rifle, how does it run? It looks like Jip at Cold War Collectibles has a Beryl handguard with the vertical foregrip, I can’t see an upper though. You could ask him about the tube stocks.

Thanks, I'll take a look at the website.

The rifle is first-rate and high quality.

CCI Standard is 100% reliable which did surprise me.

Rifle manipulation and disassembly follows the AK manual of arms. I swapped out the impractical and unergonomic vertical grip for the Magpul AFG-2.

I have the MIL std. 1913 quick release rail which 'floats' above the dustcover. However, I like running the gun with iron sights.

The pouches are Särmä TST RK Open Top magazine pouches from Varusteleka. The dump pouch is also from Varusteleka. The belt is a Raptor Tactical Odin Belt Mark III.

I wanted something different rather than the typical M&P 15-22, CMMG or another Ruger 10-22 for our .22 practical days.

Accuracy with CCI Standard (40gr round nose 1070 ft/sec) exceeds expectations.

6 round group at 25m (1cm centre-to-centre) with a 6 o'clock point of aim.

The second target is a 10 round group with a couple of flyers because I have difficulty in picking up the factory front post until such time I can fit the Meprolight sights.

The gun is perfect for its intended purpose.
