Scorecard Plotting Coaching Meet

#1 Post by TattooedGun »

Not too sure on the title, but hopefully members will read in here.

Following on from This Thread there is talk of getting together for a shoot and having 1:1 or 1:2 tuition on learning how to plot scorecards correctly and efficiently.

We will need a few members who know how to plot correctly to coach a few people shooting and obviously anyone who wants to learn will need to show interest (otherwise whats the point!)

If you think you could help, or would be interested in attending the shoot and learning to plot...

Please let us know in this thread.

Date and Location to be confirmed, But at a guess I'd say in a couple of months (gives time to organise everyone) and probably at Bisley :)

That sounds like a plan. Maybe ask Heather if she would be up for this?

I was wondering if it was possible to do it together with some wind coaching?
Perhaps ask Phyllis if she would be up for that?

Heather is the membership sec for the NRA and she knows these plot cards. She is also on here.

Phyllis is the wind coach contact at the NRA, she is not on here.

I see!

Any chance you could find out if there would be a possibility of them helping out?

Sounds like they'd be the ideal people for what we're needing :good:

Depending on date I am quite happy to coach on the use of the score book and plotting at Bisley. Weekends are best for me but I can do Fridays. Not wishing to be rude about Phyliss but she would not have a clue about plotting or wind coaching. She just administrates the NRA Courses. Now if she could get Bill Richards (Great Britain Palma Coach) to run Wind Coaching/plotting course after the Palma in Australia that would be different.

This sounds like an excellent Idea :good: If it's after the Trafalgar, and on a weekend...I'm up for it.

As i said about the McQueen day - If you want to keep costs down, I happy to do some marking
