.22 Thomson submachine gun?
Random thought...
Is there such a thing as a uk legal, .22 Thomson "tommy"?
I had a quick gander around and couldn't find much. Does such a thing exist or am I just wishing?

I think you could get a look a like based on a ruger 10/22 at one point, but auto firing is illegal

I applaud your enthusiasm, even though your grip on reality may be somewhat tenuous......

Going back four or five years ITL were supplying .22 Thompson look-a-likeys.
Their website is here:

they aren't advertising them any more, but might be worth a ring.

Re: .22 Thomson submachine gun?
I definitely recall a semi auto version in .22, made by Auto-Ordnance.
Re: .22 Thomson submachine gun?
Back in the 80's and early 90's Sportique imported the Auto Ordnance Thompson .
It was made by someone else for Auto Ordnance , and the drum mag really worked . It was also very accurate .
The ITL one is a Ruger 10/22 with a conversion kit . The maker of this kit is not licensed to export them .
A couple of years back there was an American company who was making a complete version of the Thompson , but they seem to have vanished now .

Yeah I absolutely understand it couldn't be full auto, semi would be just as fun. Haha I've seen a few US ones but couldn't find any over here. I'm guessing they have dropped off in the last couple of years. Oh well, keep my eyes open and hope without holding my breath. Just thought it could be fun.

Give ITL a ring as he did have a genuine Auto-Ordnance one, not cheap though.

Nice, Mattnall. That's not a bad price either. Something else on my wishlist now. Haha
