Target Shooter - August
3rd of August and no new copy of Target Shooter, Gun Pimp, what goes on?
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!
Re: Target Shooter - August
What goes on? - You might well ask Mike!
OK- a few months ago, we made the decision to make Target Shooter available as an Apple app.
This is not as easy - or cheap - as you might think and in addition to collecting their share of the loot, Apple like to carefully 'vet' every publication for 'unsuitable' content. This takes them about a week.
We would prefer to release the free on-line version at the same time as the app version - hence the delay.
Ideally, if we could 'put it to bed' a week earlier, wecould release both on the first of the month but this month we have a new webman, (Steve Thronton of Thornton Connect, if anyone fancies a new website) who has done an extraordinary job of bringing the magazine in line with modern publishing. He has also re-done the website.
Next month (September) will be another rush as I'm off to the Benchrest Worlds in France shortly. This means that there will be almost no chance of a 1st of September launch.
My apologies to our loyal readers but there are only three of us doing the mag. so please bear with us. If you can use the app. version with your iPad or boing it will really help with advertisers as they really like this medium.

No worries Vince, it is always worth the wait. Maybe I'll finish a review while I wait

The link at targetshooteronline to this forum seems to be broken:
On this page:
"Forum Links" at http://www.targetshooteronline.com/inde ... &Itemid=55
The link:
Fullbore Forum
points to the invalid url:
http://www.targetshooteronline.com/www.full-bore.co.uk
instead of:
http://www.full-bore.co.uk/
Also, perhaps the link text should be:
"Full-bore UK" forum
..
