GSG Firefly - Any field reports? What’s it like?

I’ve got two LBP slots, I think a PPQ might be heading into one of them judging by what people are saying and I was going to grab a firefly for a few months to have a play, given their pricing.
Any opinions on it? Is it worth a play or should I go get a shiny new suppressed Glock?

Yeah, the American one will be quite different to the UK one I’d imagine, I’ve read glowing and awful reviews of the firefly/mosquito so I suspect there’s been a journey taken with the design.
Thanks for the link, I wonder if anyone has any experience with the UK pistol?

After reading the review - I can't believe that manufactures are still trying to sell a .22lr handgun that is ammunition fussy and still fails to feed reliably. The .22 has been around, virtually unchanged, for well over a hundred years. There are plenty of handgun/magazine designs that will eat almost anything with pretty well 100% reliability.
Why would a manufacturer, after spending thousands on design and prototypes, and before spending many more thousands on tooling and marketing, give the go ahead on something that just plain doesn't work reliably?
I've always felt the same about car handbrakes - some are trouble free and work brilliantly and some are real turkeys, it costs no more to get it right. The managing director/chief accountant should be made to use the things for a year before they give the go-ahead.

its a fair question asking for real world reviews. The UK market is so small i guess not a lot of R&D goes into the testing for such items. Will be interesting to see what the reports are like on both the Firefly and the Faux Glock in the real world having seen some tests already (Glock only).
One of the reason i switch to a fixed barrel was because of the inconsistency of a slide .22 LBP.

Handled one today. It’s the best fitting and feeling handgun for my tiny hands I’ve held aside from the k22.
Beautiful weight, feel and looks like a solid build.
The trigger.
Oh my oh my the trigger.
It must be at least 8lb.
Unless it’s possible to sort the trigger at a good Gunsmith, it’s a no go.
I’ve never felt a worse handgun trigger. I’ve shot loads of pistols, center fire, rimfire, air guns, airsoft.
My sons Nerf gun has a better trigger than this.
