Hi Guys.
New here, already said "hi", heck, I'll say it again. "Hi, guys".
I was wondering - other then Midway UK - does anyone know where you can mail-order "military" bullet heads like .303, 7.92x57mm, 7.62x54R etc?
Kind Regards
T

Bullet heads for reloading.
Got hundreds of cases, but I always run out of the little buggers that I fire down range.

Hi Tower.75
If you are in Essex why not go to Roding Armoury in Abridge they do plenty of reloding gear ,
phone them on 01992 813570 I think they are closed Sun , Mon , Tues .

Peter Lawman is worth a call as well
http://www.peterlawman.co.uk/ Evenings are best and he should be carrying a lot more than he shows on his website, you could always speak to Dodgyrog on this forum as he does a good line in cast boolits.
Peter does some nice .311" 185ish spitzer bullets for the .303 and he used to do some 146grain NATO type .308 bullets that worked well in 54R but you would need to slug the bore to confirm they are OK for you rifle. I might even have a few here if you want to try a handful.

I've heard of Roding, just never been - it's quite a drive for me, and I guess, for the journey I would have to spend a quite a bit to justify the travel - I'll give them a ring, though, and see what they've got. Cheers.

Thanks, I'll try him too. I haven't got a 54R yet - just doing some thinking for the future. I've never heard of using .308 in a 7.62x54R before, though. I've always been lead to believe that they take a .311 dia bullet like a .303 rifle.
