Hi I am new to the reloading world and am looking at buying equipment button start IM looking at the Lee factory crimp dies for my pen making. I am wondering for now would the above mentioned dies be suitable for crimping a bullet and do you need a press to use these or are they hand tightened ??
Regards
John

Lee factory crimp dies are excellent pieces of kit and are calibre specific, you will need a press and suitable size shell holder to get them to work properly and consistently.
Your best bet would be to look on the For Sale forum in the first instance or, e-bay for a cheap second hand single stage press.

You can also pick up second hand reloading gear on eBay. I got a Lee press, some scales and a few other bits in excellent condition for good prices.
