No, just after number 700 from what I understand, or around the last 50/60 or so.
Don't think it was even that amount, Charnwood did assembled some from parts and sold them to public, although 134 of them were never assembled by Enfield, but don't know if these Charnwood assembled ones are part of that 134 or not.

518 were issued to UK Police forces, 16 destroyed during testing/production, and 99 exported to several Far East countries, leaving 134 not assembled.
And there is one out there (maybe) that has an out of sequence serial number or maybe just a couple of letters.

I don't have a 7.62 I'm afraid (only have a couple of old .303 Enfields ;) )

I'd love a L42, but that's never going to happen.

Thanks. Oh, such a surprise..

No 7,62 mm Nato-Enfield. Well, I hope in that case for you, that this will happen one day.. Despite the start of this story :good: ;)
Some 7,62 mm-Enfields seem to be available, looking at shops in England, Ireland.

My equipment is simple.. Half a dozen Enfields, totally. A Mark 3, then a Number 4, a Number 5, a Pattern 1914, a US-Model 1917 and one only in 7,62 mm Nato, a D73 Enforcer ... Luck hat to do by purchasing these"group"of rifles.. . Her in the small country Switzerland.. . ;)

Hello, yes that makes it exciting and interesting, too ;)
