Brand new scale.
Followed instructions and plugged in for 24hrs to allow the scale to settle down.
Calibration is spot on.
However, the digital read out jumps around in readings its unusable.
It flicks around far too much, by around 2-3 grains then drops down again.... Rinse and repeat....
What am I doing wrong? It's on a flat bench, no vibration or gale force winds.
Any ideas please

Any other electronics near it?, mobile phone etc.?
Mains unit plugged directly into the wall socket or via an adapter or multi-way block?
Try it in another room and see if it does the same.

I gave you good advice you chose to ignore it a beam scale is all ways going to work. Coupled with one of these is the best reloading system you could wish for. I have been using one for years.

I purchased a Lyman Pro-Touch 1500 and had nothing but trouble with it and so was offered an alternative from the Lyman range, but again it was troublesome. The difficulty for me seemed to be the touch-screen not responding to my touch. I now use a scale from Frankford Arsenal which has presss-buttons and that works well. Yes the old beam scales are accurate and reliable, but they are slow and expensive, the electronic scales are cheaper and very quick for batching cast bullets etc.
