7.62x54R and 30-06

Peeps

Anyone got pet loads for 7.62x54R and 30-06 Springfield

I've got Vit N140 kicking about as for bullets some 168 and 175 gn .30 cals and a load of 174gn .311

got any Reloder 17 or the Reload Swiss equivelant ? probably a better match with those bullet weights

N140 will work fine with the 174g .311 and the 168g .308. Check out the Vitavouri web site for reloading data.

I tried to add the links to the post earlier but unfortunately you can not edit a post after five minutes.
So that's the reason for the multiple posts. I needed to go check out the Vihtavuori stuff before adding it to the post and I ran out of time.

I've had pretty good results with N140 and 174gr .311" PPU bullets but much better results with both 150gr .311" PPU SPBT and .312" Hornady Interlock SP bullets with Ramshot Big Game powder behind them as the 1:320mm twist barrel on the Dragunov prefers a 150gr bullet.

What are you shooting the 54r in?, a Mosin I'm guessing.

Yes it's my faux Mosin sniper, tbh we he really only shoot at 100 so as long as it's reasonable I'll me happy.
