Any one tried the 6.5 140gn ones?
Very impressive BC.
I am really interested in the 130gn version which I don't think we will see until next year.

Not a lot of them around, and to be honest I couldn't justify the extra expense for the possible performance gain compared to the 140 Custom Competition (£260/1000) which work very well for me indeed.

They are known to be tough to load for / very jump sensitive with many loading them 30 to 50 thou off. They are great if you can find a good load but I’m still reading reports of fliers but I’ve not experienced any. I’ve got them loaded to the same velocity as my 139gr and am gaining 0.2 mils wind advantage and 0.1 elevation benefit at 1k. Pretty marginal until you get out beyond 1300 yards and then it does better: 0.6 elev and 0.3 wind gains.

Ultimately, it isn’t enough for me to justify the challenge of finding a good load and I’m going back to the 139gr. Next thing I try will be the 130 RDF as that’s reportedly easier to load for they say.

Interesting. MBR sporting has them at £100 per 250.
I think I will stick to 123gn scenars at £291 a k.
Would like to try the 130gn rdf though.
I am using the 130gn Norma golden target which work well at 1k - just a problem finding them - and they aren't cheap.
Phaedra - where are you getting your CC`s from?

Various retailers in Germany and Luxembourg.

There's not really many RDF to be seen for sale in Europe, the 6.5 130gr Golden Target are about £380/1000 shipped to the door.

I’m shooting the Norma Golden Target getting great results. 7.7 mils drop at 1,000 at over 2900 with factory Prime Ammunition vs 8.8 mils for the 139gr Scenar going 2750. It also smashes the Scenar on wind. I know that I can up the velocity on the Scenar but I have to push it to 2875 to get similar results.

Shame they are so expensive.

And then there is this:

I can only imagine how much it is per round.
