Anyone used these?
I need to blow crud (tumbler media) out of polished cases but I can't justify an air compressor.
Would an electric thingy do the job?

I just hold the case against the centre post of my tumbler and let the vibration empty the media out

Always wondered about those. Are they actually any good?

It works well, pulsing it is best for stubborn dust, but you don't have to worry about the aerosol gases in the same way you do with the cans.
It is probably not as powerful as the first burst from a can, but as long as there is a reasonable charge it doesn't fade out as quickly as the cans

Personally i would just buy a compressor. You can buy tank type from approx £25 second hand. I bought an oil free type for £50 s/h a couple of years ago and find it very useful for lots of jobs including pumping up the tyres
