Anyone loading 34g no 5 shot loads with fiber wads?

What powders and hulls are people using?

You'll probably get more replies asking on the PigeonWatch forum, unfortunately it seems to be down at the moment!

Is it not worth using an off the shelf solution? http://www.justcartridges.com/cartridge ... x=107&y=14

Most of the time yes, but where is the fun in that?

Some loads are vastly cheaper to load in fiber wad than buying

Plastic isn’t much cheaper to home load.

I’m finding more and more places I shoot will not except plastic wads, which I agree with. It’s a lot of plastic to throw around the countryside

Couldn't agree more, I don't understand really the requirement for is, especially as most game shooting backs the 'conservation' element of the activity. But then spitting hundreds if not thousands of plastic wads doens't make sense to me. I'm surprised there's not a bio-degradable plastic style wad on the market.

Fair play on the fun factor.

Out of 4 game days this year only 1 allowed plastic wads, even then it was if that’s all you have type attitude.
