Does any body load a 11.4 x 57 Reformado.
I know a few people who load .43 Spanish but not the Reformado.

Hello
I load the .43 Spanish bottlenecked round in Remington Lee and a Rolling block.
The Reformardo is interesting as nominally it uses a straight walled case but with a slight taper with a .446" brass covered bullet.
That said my other Rolling block has the Reformardo chamber but retains it's .439" bore, this is apparently a common occurrence.
Many Reformardo cases were apparently made by firing older bottleneck .43" Spanish in them which is why the case head stampings look flattened .

I have a variety of cases, some made from .348" Winchester, some Cascade Cartridge Company and some Bell. the rims of the 348" are a bit thin compared to original cases/ modern reproductions. I would think Reformardo could be made from Basic Bell brass and a bit of fireforming. I haven't seen dies for the Reformardo so that could be a challenge. If you have a .446" bore then the RCBS 11mm Mauser mould would work.
I'd recommend a chamber cast as a first step and slugging the bore to see what you're up against.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.
Mike

Will hopefully get round to doing a chamber cast at the weekend
