I want to upgrade my Alfa Proj .357 MLR rear sight. It seems to be based on the S&W system with a replaceable blade. Can anyone point me in the right direction or anyone got one, preferably illuminated or tritium like they want to sell?

Have a word with Jim. Back in the day he imported shed loads of S&Ws and was instrumental, together with Westlake, to build the Alfa MLR. If he can’t answer your question, that only leave God...

There are no drop in sights or blades that will fit the Alfa .
S & W rear sights would need the Alfa frame to be machined .
Best option is fit a Weaver rail and some sort of red dot sight.

Other options .
Buy an Aristocrat sight rib , and get it modified to fit the Alfa .
Buy the type of sights you want and get someone to make an Aristocrat type sight rib with the sights you have bought fitted to it .
Both options will need the barrel shroud removing to be drilled and tapped .

The ideal pistol sight picture is a sharp focused foresight with the daylight either side of it sharp and clear. Anything which draws your eyes to the rear sight is bad.
