Winchester 1886 rifle.

err what was all this about not using "pointed" rounds in a tubular magazine? Those rounds seemed quite "pointy" to me.

The are soft polymer tipped, I have seen them advertised as safe for lever action, the idea is they are too soft to set off the primer

this ^^, Hornady LEVERevolution have been around for a while now, iv used them in my 357 rossi lever gun for close range fox
