Hi

Just thought I would put this item in early if any one is interested in entering a competition at my club on the 5th November , I can send you an application forms and details .

Its at the Herts and Essex range 25 yds indoors , open to any .22 rifle .
Its the Mini Methuen , which includes prone , with sand bag support if you choose to use it ,
kneeling and standing , timed and rapid .
Rifles are divided into classes , vintage , veteran , service , scoped , single shot or a percentage deduction for magazine use .
Its a good opportunity to get one of the old rifles out and put it through its paces , you can enter more than once with various rifles .
Heres a photo of one of my targets I only enter the scope class as the eyes arent up to using open sights .

Theres also a similar comp in Feb or March next year .
Thers also a display run in the club house of old service rifles and pistols , various other items .
The rifles used range from Henry Martini Bonehill conversions , War office pattern trainers , BSA Martinis of all descriptions up to modern CZ and Rugers , even rook rifles and .310 BSA Cadet rifles can enter .
Sometime we get a 25pdr fired with a BP round outside the range , bit of a bang
If any ones interested let me know .

Dave

Hi Dave,

You can put me down for an entry please - will the form be available as a download anywhere?

I may well have had a bit of a sell-off before then but there'll be something left to shoot with.

I'm really starting to get into the idea of 22 comps. I shoot a 10/22 race gun but am going to get a BSA Martini International and pimp it into a 25/50 metre tack driver.
