If you have a second barrel for an auto shotgun should it be listed on your sgc ?

I believe not. As long as it came from a Sec.2 gun and not a Sec.1 gun then it is a component of an S.2 gun and not controlled.

Home Office Guidance to Police on Firearms Law 2016;

Para 13.76 "Spare shotgun barrels are not subject to certificate control except for dealers"

Strathclyde had a very different view on that - as they did with everything.

Spare Hatsan barrel just HAD to be on the FAC.

FAC or SGC? Probably corrects if it’s an FAC shotgun.

That's the UK anomaly. Sometimes a shotgun is a firearm. A "firearm" will need its spare barrel on ticket.

Some years ago Lancashire police assured me that a spare barrel for my FAC semi auto shotgun didn't need to be listed on the certificate.
I no longer have either the gun or barrel now.
