RORG 93 +

When Adenbourne Country Sports in Witney closed down I was sold fifty rounds of 5.56 milsurp for about a fiver - last little lot in their safe.
It was cheap and I figured I'd use it for something some day. Maybe.
It's headstamped RORG 93 +
So Royal Ordnance Radway Green of 1993 vintage.
It transpires that my Speedmaster has a Wylde throat so should handle .223 / 5.56 equally well.
HOWEVER, I'm told that there hasn't been any milsurp 5.56 available for many years and that which does pop up may well be reject stock and ill-advisable to shoot. I was just wondering if there is a known cutoff point between good stuff / bad stuff?
ALSO ... bit concerned about the + stamp (in a circle) is that significant? Is it pretty pokey stuff unsuitable for a civillian rifle?
Not terribly worried about not shooting it - it was only a fiver. I am concerned about disposal though - say if I were to sell it on.

The + in a circle means its a NATO standard round.. all NATO ammo will have it.
Couldn't tell you about a cutoff date, although I've used a fair amount of milsurp over the years.... I must admit i generally don't look at the headstamp, so i couldn't tell you how old it is..

I have recently shot all the RG 5.56/.223 I had which was dated 90 all went bang no seen issues, bought from
http://www.itlshootingsupplies.co.uk/page13.htm
A shooting mate has still got loads to use not had any issues through his rifle bought from the same RFD.

Searching about on't net didn't reveal any instances of it blowing stuff up. Apparently some early 90s stuff was a tad underpowered - but this was only a problem for the Americans and their semi-automatic rifles.
Other than that seems it'd be fine. Any idea what the going price per fifty rounds is? I might just offer them up for sale at my local club - I already reload for .223 so not worth fiddling with sight settings for fifty bangs.

There was a lot of RG98 going about a few years ago and there has been some dated several years this century that I've tried, all has gone bang and gone about where I aimed.

There is literally tons of milsurp 5.56 available, I'm using RORG 88 and it's fantastic stuff.

Looks like I've been given some duff info then. Aside from 7.62 X 39 and 54R I don't have much call for milsurp so am not au fait.

Any idea what the going price per fifty rounds is?
100 rounds go for £40-45 depending on which RFD selling.

I've still got 2 full cans of RG 5.56; can't remember what year it is.
