So. If I wanted a nice shiny cosmoline filled no4, unissued and unused, where would I get one from?

I got mine from a place in Oldham. Was called 'Simply Arms and Ammo'. I believe it's changed its name now - but to something not too different to previous, so googling 'Arms and Ammo Oldham' might get you there...

He had racks of Enfields of varying condition when I was in last. Definitely reputable, definitely talkative... :)

Kranks will always have some in, but again it may be pot luck... best bet for both is to phone and ask. They may have a rummage through when you're on the line :)

South Yorkshire Shooting Supplies are advertising 3 unfired (except for proof) MK2's at £1500 each.

Simply Firearms did not have any No. 4 when I spoke to Derrick a couple of weeks ago. Kranks only had 2-groove versions in the warehouse.

I was enquiring for my Father who was after another No. 4. By chance another club member was selling his which he had hardly shot in about 13 years of ownership..... Dad bought it and is delighted with it... fantastic condition and shoots really accurately.

Hmm, thanks chaps, has anyone heard of a dealer from chesterfield that sells out of his front room? Enfield specialist? #overheard.

I'm in Chesterfield and I've not heard of him. Be interested to hear more though.

the thing is....isn't it about the history of the thing, where it's been and done? In Milsurps anyway.

Thought about buying a 'new unisued unfired' one but i wouldnt be able to resist pulling the trigger
