UK equivalent to Johnson's Paste wax

Hi all,
Only second post here. I've searched the forum but can't find an answer. I've been looking into casting bullets for .303 and 7.5 swiss. There is a recommendation on the 'Cast Boolits' site for 45,45,10 % bullet lube. However the Johnsons Paste wax is not seemingly imported into UK. Is avaliable on Amazon but very expensive. £70 + Is there an equivalent here?
thanks
Bob S

Recluse's original method of putting carnauba wax into Xlox using Johnsons paste wax is convoluted when adding straight carnauba and white spirit is all that is needed to get the same result.

Commercial White Label 45-45-10 as well as Xlox is available in the UK, to be honest the only difference tween 45-45-10 and Xlox is a shiny barrel, not cleaner barrel, and a slightly less tacky finish to the bullets when covered, just the same as if you cut Xlox 50/50 with white spirit which should be the standard way of using it as with both these coatings less is more.

Going by it's data sheet: https://www.freemansupply.com/MSDS/scan ... stewax.pdf

It's ingredients are white spirit, paraffin wax and carnubara wax.

Shouldn't be too hard to mix up to the proportion given.

No no no do not do that it would be a waste of time, the bulk of the Recluse method using Johnsons wax is about getting rid of the other ingredients to just leave the carnauba wax. He is trying to make an "improved" Xlox not re-create Johnsons past wax

How true that a little knowledge .........................

Thanks Guys,
One more question.
Currently I use Lee liquid alox with 10% Meths added and tumple lube. What is difference between Xlox and LLA? Does Xlox have the carnauba wax added?

Xlox is the same as the Lee stuff but a lot cheaper, Lee wouldn't let them use the Alox name which isn't even theirs.

45-45-10 has the carnauba.

You are using the the alox very thick only using 10% thinner, less is more, the bullets should just have a light golden hue to them no browness. It performs as a coating not as a traditional "lube" so it functions differently and needs to be applied differently.

So, I've bough some carbanura wax on Amazon. I'll give it a try with the 40-40-10. I've got lots of LLA from re sizing dies. You get one included with each.
