Took my new RPR to zero in at the weekend.

Pictures to follow.

Warning to those of a sensitive nature who believe all rifles should be wooden and come with a pith helmet as standard it is nasty and black and has rails on it.

You may wish to avert your eyes.

:p

Oh yes they are indeed fine rifles.

This one is a .308 but with a 24in Barrel rather than the 20in barrel.

I haven't met anyone who owns one and isn't very happy with it...

Not my cup-of-tea as I find that "pistol gripped straight line recoil" best suited for semi full bore and rimfires that are used standing up or off the elbows. Off a bipod I prefer a much more traditional stock.

Changing stuff was one of the design parameters of the RPR, so you could configure several of your rifles the same, if that was your need or desire. Good shout on the 24" barrel though.

Currently, between £1800 and £1900 I think looking at one website that has the same model in as I have. Though I paid less for mine as the price seems to have gone up recently

Stupidly overpriced nowadays I would say, the original I have was £1350, all you get for a 40% price increase on the "new shiny enhanced" more expensive version is a metal bolt shroud (fix for a non-existent problem), no picatinny rail on the cheaper fore-end and a muzzle brake.

The new Tikka T3x TacA1 is around £1500-£1600 and is a much better finished rifle.
