I've used it for cast bullet light loads in double rifles. I can't say that I am that impressed with the results so far.

Fast pistol powder same as all the rest just a bit fluffier for more case fill, however it does come in 9oz tubs and is lb for lb considerably more expensive than most other fast pistol powders. Seems fluffiness costs a lot, still fools and their money etc.

i have used it quite a bit, in big bore cases 45/70, 444 and still use it in my 44mag and 357 yes it comes in 9oz tubes but you are using less powder and it is particulary usefull for reduced power loads

Wouldn't bother with pistol sized cartridges, far too many others out there that are better all round. As alluded, big old cartridge cases benefit from the much bulkier Trailboss.

Although I don't use a lot of this, it gives cloverleaf accuracy from my Marlin in 45LC.

It is all I use in my Marlin. It likes 3.2 grains and a 140 grn bullet.

I've not used it in a lever action rifle but I have for various centrefire calibres.

I find extremely useful and I think it has created a niche for itself that it's closest rivals in terms of burn rate and bulk density (Clays and 5744) can't match.

I have an excellent subsonic load for my 308 and a nice reduced load for the 3006 with 125 gr SP which just about makes the legal ME level and is the best load for slightly built or otherwise recoil shy newbies to deerstalking.

Just about makes the legal ME at what range ???
If it's at the muzzle then most likely at 100yds it will already be below required legal energy
Not quite sure how the law stands regarding the ME it could be as long as its compliment at the point of leaving the rifle then that's fine, if it's at point of impact then just need to be aware

It makes legal muzzle energy, at the muzzle chief.
