Assuming you mean GSG 1911, if it's anything like mine it should just be a case of knocking the original rearsight out of its dovetail, slipping the small trapezium shaped bit into the dovetail, putting the mount on top, lining up the holes and screwing it down with the 2 countersunk screws. D0n't overtighten the screws as the metal of the slide can be easily bent. Use Loctite.

Thats what we plan to do, screws were a bit small so we're getting some smaller screws. I'll mention the loctite and thank you.

The mount I have (not a Vortex) has four screws. Two to fix the mount to the slide and two to fix the sight to the mount separately. Looking at a picture of the vortex mount it looks like it might just use two screws directly through the sight into the dovetail block.

Vortex razor and its the vortex mount we got. Do you have any pics or anything that would help with fitting it to the gsg dovetail?

This may be a silly question but did you get the adapted version of the mount to fit the larger dovetail on the gsg?

Where did you buy it from? If its from Blackrifle then the threaded block should slot into the rear sight slot, you put the mount and fitting plate on top, then your sight and then just put the two bolts though into the block. If its not that easy you've either ordered the wrong version somehow, or they've sent you the wrong one
