Assuming that the input of information is correct generally speaking, how reliable are the results?

I ask this question as someone who has never used Quickload , but has some data provided by a powder company, in answer to an enquiry regarding an obsolete calibre.

It's only as reliable as the data you enter and it should not be used a substitute for published load data. I've used to to generate some loads for .30 carbine using lead bullets and fast burning pistol powder only because there was no published load data for this. In terms of velocity, QuickLoad was around 1% higher compared with actual measured muzzle velocity which I find acceptable. I have no way to measure pressure so cannot comment on the difference in measured pressure to calculated pressure. You may need to take this into account when shooting older rifles.
