I'm starting to believe the small size of the gap on the rear sight blade on my k22 is causing my groups to not improve anymore than what they are now.

Free hand 20yards I'm regularly shooting mid 80s on a PL14, but if I use a buckmark or Taurus which has a much wider rear sight blade gap, I can easily improve that score without much practice handling the different firearms.

I want to change the rear blade or even the whole rear sight to accommodate one with a larger gap. Has anyone else done this or knows if it's possible?

My knowledge is limited and until I hear back from CCA I don't want to waste too much money trying different things out.

Depends on which model K22 you have?

Also would a thinner front sight not be a better and easier option?
