This rifle came up at auction 2 years ago .I was lucky enough to purchase it. Elmer was my favorite writer of all things in shooting, hunting and Big game.
Elmer used this as his "Turkey Rifle" a 22lr no less. This one of kind rifle was on Display in Cabela's store in Utah . It has a hand made trigger assembly and oversize Winchester Barrel blank.

Thank you.
I mostly collect pre 1960 .22 rifles . I have 7 Winchester 52 Bull guns 2- Remington 37 rifles 5 Springfield 1922's & various others
They are like money in the Bank.
I love the British rifle scene you have so many rifle clubs. America is changing unfortunately. Must be the water we drink here.

Looks to be a little scuffed on the cheekpiece. Must have snagged on his twin pearl handled revolvers.

Well Charles I am Jealous!
I have a 1936 Pre A Speedlock which is a lovely beast, the only thing being someone shortened the stock but apart from that its a little peach. It has the bull barrel and the sporter stock.
The only things I would love for it are a new stock and replacement Lyman 58 sights.
