It seems like forever ago that I ordered my M1 Carbine (early in Jan) and in 30 minutes I'm off to Chertsey to go and pick it up. I can't wait!

Will be playing with it at North Cotes, Saturday evening, after a day of Cowboy Action Shooting :)

Funny that, I was just looking at ITL website today and they seemed to have a few available. Enjoy!

They are great, I had one of the first batch he had, funny I thought he had loads of them ! I shoot mine indoors using lead boolits and 5gr of N320.

:good: can you see under the rear sight at the back for a makers name? Windage adjustable rear sight they are alot better than the flip over type. Wood seems to have a used look about it bit like our one was until I cleaned and re oiled it.

yeah, the wood looks a bit abused, but that's why I picked it, nice to have some character, the other one was varnished and a lot lighter, more yellow, almost the same colour as this

Ian said this one was a WW2 stock, but it could just have been striped and stained quickly. There is the odd bit of white wood showing through.
no sign of a makers name, I'll get it out of the stock Saturday for a pic of the action. Picked up 200 rnds with it, so i should get a decent play. after that I have a load of cast that should fit for some lower powered rounds, the 5gr load sounds good. same as what I've been trying in 303 (same boolits too, might just need a squeeze down in size)
