AR10's

For a number of years I've owned a very nice straight pull AR15 in 223, and to be honest this is the one rifle I will never part with though one day it may become my grandfathers garden fork.
Anyway, I have hankering for a similar rifle in 308. I know that Southern Gun and LMT both make a AR10 straight pull. Can i have anyones experiences of owning any of these and is there any other builders that i should have a look at.
I have heard comments regarding difficult extraction of cases, how difficult are we talking? A good yank on the handle difficult or need the front 2 rows of a rugby team difficult?

Really like the look of this one, and extraction problems feature in the thread discussion.

Valkyrie also make AR-10s which I hear are very good rifles.

The LMT is awesome but she's a big girl in the weight department.

I have shot a friends one it is super smooth cycling and a bit on the heavy side weight wise but a very nice rifle if a tad expensive.

Its only a 1 in 10 twist.
I would prefer one in 6.5 Grendel.

Its based on a section sharp shooters rifle, its is not designed to be quite as handy as an AR15
If the IOR is that bad get a Sightron, you wont be doing any abseiling and they are superb while being light weight. The FTR/WC was won several years back with an 8-32 LRTD.
