Your shooting distances and frequency of use are exactly the same as I have been doing since the handgun ban. I use: 44-40. 3000Sherwood. 310 Cadet. 360no5, 8.15 x 46R 11.43 Mauser and a variety of muzzle loaders. My favourite? 310 Cadet.

Very accurate, easy to reload if you have invested in the right gear. Cases can be bought, but they will be to "nominal size". It is better to make them by reforming 32-20 and adjusting the length and rim thickness to suit your rifle. Some 310s will accept the standard 32-20 rim thickness, some require the rim to be thinned down, May have longer than nominal chambers and, since you have to shorten the 32-20 brass anyway, you can tailor it to fit your chamber. In my case, the rims are left alone and the cases made about 80 thou longer than the nominal size.
You will need a supply of the correct heeled bullets: RCBS, Accurate and NEL all make moulds, or you could buy them. Dies are optional: if you have access to a set to get through the case forming stage, you won't need to use them after the first firing. Do not re-size, simply de-cap, re-cap add 4.2 to 4.5 grn of Unique and thumb seat the bullet. It is best to use Lee liquid alox to tumble the bullets in and this helps to retain the bullet in the loaded case.
Sounds complicated and it is a bit to get started, but once you have a supply of fire formed brass for your rifle, there is nothing easier to load.
