Howitzer Products

When I bought my rifle in January I also bought ammunition off the seller who is a gun smith. This included two full boxes of .357 Magnum made by Howitzer Products who be all accounts stopped manufacturing back in 1997!! Either .357 is a slow seller for the gunsmith or he got these from a source ha ha!
I'm tempted to keep a complete box just for the "historical" value.

I have a load of Howitzer boxes with the fired brass still in them ready for me to clean and shoot one day :)

Me too, as well as the last of my Howitzer Zero powder (I bought a 20kg drum way back when)

I've still got a few boxes in the cabinet. I seem to recall they were really good value back in the day. My 586 loved 'em.

Do me a favour, what does it say on the side of the box? I used to use a load of Howitzer during the day and I never recalled a full metal jacket flat point. Lead RN and SWC and SJHP, but not FMJFP. Are you sure this hasn't been reloaded?

Sim, it is stamped 158GRN TMJ.
