A question for any Dillon progressive press users, what is the length of the primer pick-up/feed tube and what model press do you have?

Dillon 550.
Will have to measure it.

They're the same on the 650 too, from memory.
100 primers capacity.

My Dillon pick-up tubes are 12" (the aluminium part only). I have Super 1050s, but the tubes are independent of the press type.

The Dillon tubes hold 100 of some primer types, but fewer for Federals (something like 96, which is a PITA). I therefore make my own primer tubes at 350mm. All types get filled with a Vibra-prime.

I currently have 17" which gives around 140 and want to go to 150 as it is a nice round number which set me thinking would the 1050 tubes be any longer however I will need to extend the outer as well which is currently a hefty length of thick wall stainless steel.

Rox, have you sourced tube for both large and small primers?

My tubes from my 550 and 1050 all hold around 100 primers
BTW I have a old manual powder measure knocking around somewhere with the plastic tube intact

Only large; it was a one-off length (no more available) and took a hard search. It is readily available in the US, if you know someone who could receive, cut to length and forward.
