first post got a problem with my Ruger Precision bolt, the small gudeon pin is coming loose any one else seen this.

Moved to correct forum.

Why not take some time to introduce yourself on the new members forum?

Which pin?, it's a fairly well know problem with the retaining pin in the bolt assembly to be missing allowing the firing pin to move backwards.

Since I posted last found out the pin is not the problem ,its the new aluminium bolt shroud I bought to replace the crack plastic one
it was causing me to have hang fires every time I fired with the shroud on, fired ok without a shroud , I am using the crack one as it doesn't affect anything.
