Hi
Following loads of comments, to -ing and fro-ing discussion and cogitating I'm moving towards the K22 X trim titanium version. Any ideas am I right in thinking it is better that the GSG models? But it aint cheap. £1k +
It looks good for PP1, service pistol, precision maybe even 1500 PPC. Am I right?
Opinions please people..........thanks
Thanks
J

Better as in using proper full-bore gun materials, feeling more ergonomic to some shooters, having a better coat hanger and having a SA/DA trigger (that might not appeal to some though). But other than that I've seen a similar level of accuracy and reliability as any other LBP.

Personally I didn't like the feel of the K22 when I shot one, as a result I've ordered a 1911, which somehow feels better in my hand.
True, I will have to spend some money on it to improve accuracy, but I like tinkering with guns and the overall cost should be far lower than that of a K22.

^ This shows the importance of trying them out in person. Before I got my K22 I was dead set on a 1911 until I held it and operated it back-to-back with the K22. The 1911 wasn't a patch on the K22 in feel, fit, finish or operation.

I have both. The gsg feels and shoots like a toy gun in comparison.

The GSG is too cramped, the grip is too small, caused by the way the brace is attached.
K22 is more forgiving for the meatier paws some of us have.
I also wanted a fibre optic fornt sight and an adjustable rear sight, which is standard on the X-trim, but would have bumped the overall price of a GSG up into K22 territory anyway.

Lol. I find the gsg too big and the k22 has adjustable back straps so fits my tiny, tiny trump hands.

I think there might also be a difference in size between the mk1 and mk2 gsg?? Iv'e been told that that the newer model is quite a bit bigger than the older one.

I've seen both at the same time, although not laying side by side, and I could see any difference in external dimensions. Ths GSG's do vary in internal dimensions to a proper 1911 though, it makes fitting some aftermarket parts quite the chore
