Good 6.5 x 47 result.........

Photo removed at posters request due to load data error.
A 5 shot group on a fairly calm morning at 300yds. Tikka M595 with 8 twist 30" Lothar barrel, and CG Jackson trigger.
Windage adjusted after the first shot, the next three were almost touching, then I got all excited and messed up shot 5.

I SCREWED UP!! Powder used was RS60. and not RS52 as indicated.......do NOT use this load under any circumstances

Use of this weight of RS52 could result in a Pmax (chamber pressure) of 4939 bar.........(sorry Dromia, 71629 psi), which is somewhat higher than the 6.5 x 47 design Pmax of 63091 psi..
Estimated Pmax using 40.6 grains of RS60 is 55512 psi (Quickload). Muzzle velocity was 2940 fps.

Using foreign measurements is just meaningless to people educated in British units of measurement.
