Well, I collected another Firearm yesterday (thanks Andy :good: ), a 1896 Swedish Mauser converted, of all things, to 22BR and fitted to a Parker Hale Cadet stock. The original conversion was done by Norman Clark with restoration by Thames Valley Guns (TVG).

Fitted with a bipod and scope it weights in a 5.30kg (11.7lb). The rifle a heavy match barrel (20” in length) with a 11° recessed crown and and a 1:14 twist along with a modern adjustable match trigger. Paul at TVG also supplied the reloading data he developed for this rifle with N135, which leaves me one less thing to do - 29gns will give me an average velocity of 3389fps with an ES of 36fps.

I'm looking forward to the next range day but first of all, I need to start necking down the 6mm BR brass and get myself an outside neck turning tool before starting to load ammunition...

Just a thought, if you post me a sized case I can machine you a mandrel to suit the neck turner.

Good looking rifle BTW :good:
