Just a few days short of his 101st birthday. What a life he saw.
Well done that man.

A D-Day Spitfire pilot who crash landed five times during his wartime career has died just days before his 101st birthday.
Tony Cooper, 100, joined the RAF Volunteer Reserve in 1937 after an earlier attempt to become a pilot due to a damaged ear drum.
The former fighter pilot explained that his later successful attempt to become a pilot was due to the fact 'there was a war coming'.
