Hi
Going to start loading my own .44 cases (which are magnum sized) and was wondering which lee deluxe die set I need, does one set do both magnum and special like the .38/.357 set does?
Thanks

Lee part no. 90966 Read the instructions twice!, the dies have to be adjusted for using the 44Mag cases, they work perfectly :)
These with the factory crimp die which works very nicely (44Spl & 44Mag)

Or these without it, you set the bullet seater to give the required amount of crimp (44Mag only)

Usually you can use 44(38) Special dies for 44(38) special and 44(357) magnum but not the other way round. The magnum roll crimp die is too long for special.
The RCBS set for instance just has a 1/10" of an inch spacer in the magnum set, same dies as the special set. Which isn't really necessary.
